<p>Franklin University, an accredited, private, not-for-profit institution in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking adjunct faculty for the Family and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner programs. The School of Nursing is looking for part-time adjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners (AGPCNPs). Anticipated openings begin in January 2025, with qualified candidates added to a pool for future consideration. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching specific courses within the online FNP and AGPCNP programs.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality instruction and foster a supportive, engaging learning environment.</li> <li>Facilitate both asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences.</li> <li>Efficiently manage assigned courses, ensuring timely communication and grading.</li> <li>Cultivate an inclusive, welcoming, and productive classroom atmosphere.</li> <li>Address and assist in resolving student concerns related to course content and instruction.</li> <li>Provide feedback and participate in course evaluations as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education/Experience Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in nursing.</li> <li>At least 2 years of current clinical practice as an APRN.</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of online teaching experience in a graduate nursing program.</li> <li>Current unencumbered RN nursing license and APRN certification in the state of employment.</li> <li>National APRN certification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Doctoral degree in nursing or related field.</li> <li><span><span><span> </span></span></span>Experience with asynchronous teaching.</li> <li>Compact or multi-state license.</li> </ul>
