Assembly Worker

Scope: Perform duties on the Assembly line in accordance with Harper Trucks’ quality and safety program. Ensure power and hand tools are running to standard and produce quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain a Safe work environment and wear proper PPE.

· Able to efficiently transfer from one job station to another.

· Use hand and power tools repeatedly.

· Safely assemble and stack hand trucks on pallets for shipping.

· Make sure that all equipment is clean and working properly.

· Report any defective or unsafe machines to the lead and/or supervisor.

· Able to work overtime as needed, including 6 days per week.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

· Assembly line experience (preferred)

Skills:

· Good attendance and work performance.

· Be professional at all times.

· Work as a team and individually to meet common goals.

· Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Motivated self-starter that can work productively alone and in groups to solve problems.

Working Conditions:

· Non-climate-controlled environment

· noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to stand and work in a stationary position 95% of the time.

· Occasionally moving from one worksite to another.

· Constantly uses wrists, hands, and/or fingers in the production of hand trucks.

· Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds.

· Constantly operate hand and /or power tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
