<p>This is a remote position.</p> Philippine-based Filipino Applicants.<br> <br> The Bookkeeper VA provides accurate and reliable bookkeeping and administrative support to the mortgage brokerage by managing financial records, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting tasks.<b> Strong administrative support skills and proven experience using Xero accounting software are absolutely required.</b><br> ​<br> <b>1. Accounts Payable Support:</b><br> <ul> <li>Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders or receipts.<br></li> <li>Process invoices for payment, ensuring they align with company procedures.<br></li> <li>Maintain accurate records of all invoices, payments, and relevant documentation.<br></li> <li>Handle vendor inquiries received via email, resolving payment discrepancies promptly and professionally.<br></li> </ul> <b>2. General Administrative Support:</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist with general administrative tasks, such as organizing files and maintaining records.<br></li> <li>Perform basic data entry to ensure all records and documents are up-to-date and accurate.<br></li> <li>Provide support for any other administrative duties as required by the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.<br></li> </ul> <b>3. Ad Hoc Tasks:</b><br> <ul> <li>Assist with various work-related tasks as directed by management, depending on the priority and requirements of the day.<br></li> <li>Provide support for other team members when necessary, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.<br></li> </ul><br> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li><b><b>Strong administrative support skills and proven experience using Xero accounting software are absolutely required.</b></b><br></li> <li>Basic knowledge of accounting principles, especially accounts payable processes.<br></li> <li><b>Must have Bookkeeping experience</b><br></li> <li>Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.<br></li> <li>Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.<br></li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office technology.<br></li> <li>Excellent written communication skills for email correspondence.<br></li> <li>Ability to work independently, stay motivated, and complete tasks efficiently.<br></li> </ul> <b>Key Attributes:</b><br> <ul> <li>Motivated: Proactive in completing tasks with minimal supervision.<br></li> <li>Accurate: High level of attention to detail, ensuring correctness in all financial and administrative tasks.<br></li> <li>Reliable: Dependable and consistently meets deadlines, especially for accounts payable tasks.<br></li> <li>Adaptable: Able to adjust to a variety of tasks and requests as needed.<br></li> </ul> Work Environment & Expectations<br> <br> While this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.<br> <br> ✅ This role requires:<br> <br> • Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times, not flexible)<br> • Use of time tracking software during work hours<br> • Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON<br> • Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift<br> • Treating this as a long-term, full-time job—not a side gig or freelance task<br> <br> ⏱ Payroll is processed bi-monthly.<br> We’re looking for someone who values structure, is dependable, and thrives in a role that provides consistency and clarity.
