<div class="container-3Gm1a"><p><span style="">The Commercial Contracts role within the Sales Organization is responsible delivering effective, high quality commercial contracts with customers for Ford Energy. </span></p><p><span style=""> You will coordinate activities across onsite cross-functional Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure disciplined execution of large-scale projects —including schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.</span><br> </p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to close-out, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing various commercial agreements. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Ensure all contractual terms and conditions are adhered to, minimizing risks and fostering beneficial relationships with all involved parties. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Collaborate with internal departments, including Legal, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Project Management, to ensure contract terms meet business requirements and objectives. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Conduct meticulous review of legal and financial documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, legal frameworks, and industry regulations. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers, vendors, and partners to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining positive relationships. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks, providing proactive solutions and recommendations to stakeholders. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Monitor contract performance, key deadlines, and obligations, implementing amendments, extensions, or renewals as necessary. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Maintain accurate and organized records of all contract correspondence, documentation, and data. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract-related matters and best practices. </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><span style="font-family:">Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and templates. </span></li></ul><p><span style="">Qualification: </span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span style="">Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.</span></li><li><span style="">8+ years of progressive experience in contract management, procurement, or a related commercial role.</span></li><li><span style="">Familiarity with BESS business models and contracts; preference for candidates with 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: </span></li><li><span style="">Battery Energy storage systems (BESS)</span></li><li><span style="">Large Scale Electric Power / Utility projects</span></li><li><span style="">Li-ion battery-related projects</span></li><li><span style="">Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial terms.</span></li><li><span style="">Proven negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills.</span></li><li><span style="">Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.</span></li><li><span style="">Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</span></li><li><span style="">Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.</span></li><li><span style="">Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</span></li></ul><p><span style="">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span style="">Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification.</span></li><li><span style="">Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, JD).</span></li><li><span style="">Experience with specific industry-related contracts.</span></li></ul><p><br><span style="">Leadership Attributes</span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span style="">Strategic thinker able to collaborate and deliver high quality commercial contracts in rapidly evolving global energy storage markets.</span></li></ul><p><span style="">Location & Travel | Company</span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span style="">U.S. with domestic travel</span></li></ul><p><span style="">You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!</span><br><span style=""> </span></p><p><span style="">This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $138,240-261,720. </span><br><span style="">Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.</span><br><br><span style="">Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</span></p><p><span style="">Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
