Concrete Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into solid, durable structures! In this energetic role, you will assist with all aspects of concrete work, from mixing and pouring to finishing and finishing touches. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Prepare work areas by setting up forms, rebar, and other foundational components according to schematics and blueprints
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring and placement of concrete
• Assist with rebar installation, ensuring reinforcement is correctly positioned for maximum strength
• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces to achieve desired textures and quality standards
• Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials like metal studs, trim carpentry elements, or stucco finishes
• Support demolition, renovation, or restoration projects by removing old materials or preparing surfaces for new applications
• Follow safety protocols diligently while lifting heavy materials or operating machinery on busy construction sites

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete-related tasks preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
• Mechanical knowledge helpful for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues during projects
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needed
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing long hours, and performing physically demanding tasks
• Knowledge of masonry techniques including tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, roofing basics, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, or stucco work is advantageous
