Data Analyst (for our partner group)

<p>You'll own the analytics function end-to-end — from designing the metrics framework before launch to running daily reporting, fraud monitoring, and merchant analysis once we're live.</p><p>This is a hands-on role: you write SQL, build dashboards, and dig into data. But you also think in problems and solutions — not just charts. You work directly with the Founder, CFO, CTO, and risk/compliance leads. No layers.</p><p><br><br><strong>WHAT YOU'LL BE OWNING</strong></p><ul><li><b>Metrics & BI</b> — design the metrics framework and dashboards from scratch, maintain the metrics dictionary</li><li><b>Data model</b> — review schema, identify gaps, propose what to capture and how</li><li><b>Transaction & fraud analytics</b> — auth rates, decline analysis, 3DS performance, Visa VAMP / MC MMP monitoring, chargebacks</li><li><b>Financial analytics</b> — merchant P&L, interchange tracking, scheme fees, IC++ vs blended pricing simulation, revenue forecasting</li><li><b>Settlement & reconciliation</b> — timeliness, exceptions, nostro monitoring</li><li><b>Merchant analytics</b> — health scoring, cohort analysis, onboarding funnel, segmentation</li><li><b>Compliance & regulatory</b> — daily safeguarding reconciliation, AML stats, scheme reports, CBC submissions</li><li><b>Executive reporting</b> — weekly/monthly reviews with insights and recommendations</li></ul> <hr><p><strong>OUR TECH STACK:</strong> PostgreSQL (RDS) · AWS Redshift Serverless · AWS QuickSight · SQL (primary) · Python (pandas, Jupyter) · Excel/CSV · AI tools daily</p><hr><p><strong>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE</strong></p><p><b>Must have:</b></p><ul><li>3+ years as a data / BI analyst</li><li>Advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization)</li><li>Confident with dashboarding and data visualization</li><li>Analytical mindset — finds insights, proposes solutions, drives them to done</li><li>Works directly with C-level and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Active daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) — not just awareness</li></ul><p><b>Nice to have:</b></p><ul><li>Fintech / payments / acquiring analytics experience</li><li>Knowledge of interchange, scheme fees, MDR, and IC++ pricing</li><li>Visa VAMP / Mastercard MMP familiarity</li><li>Python (pandas, matplotlib/plotly)</li><li>AWS Redshift / QuickSight experience</li><li>AML/CFT reporting knowledge</li><li>Good English level (at least A2-B1) and fluent russian </li></ul> <hr><h2><strong style="font-size:13px;">WHAT WE OFFER</strong></h2><ul><li>Remote work (EU timezone or close to it) </li><li>Competitive compensation above typical market benchmarks for similar roles</li><li>Work directly with Founder, CTO, CFO, risk team — no corporate layers</li><li>Own the analytics function from day one</li><li>Growth path to Head of Analytics / BI</li><li>Small, highly engaged team with strong ownership</li><li>Fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy</li></ul>
