Third party candidates are not eligible for this role.<hr><h1>JOB DESCRIPTION</h1><h2>SUMMARY STATEMENT</h2>This role serves as a Director-level leader for Healthcare Informatics and Analytics, responsible for defining and executing enterprise analytics strategy, leading informatics teams, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position blends strategic leadership, healthcare domain expertise, and advanced analytics knowledge to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and support organizational growth.<hr><h1>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</h1>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities may be supplemented as needed.<hr><h2>Design / Develop (50%)</h2><ul><li>Define and execute the enterprise analytics strategy aligned with organizational and healthcare business goals.</li><li>Identify opportunities where data analytics can drive business performance, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.</li><li>Partner with IT leadership to design and implement data architecture, data platforms, and analytics infrastructure.</li><li>Establish and standardize KPI frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting models across business units.</li><li>Lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions supporting Medicare, claims, and operational data.</li><li>Translate executive business needs into scalable analytics initiatives and actionable insights.</li><li>Build the analytic foundation and roadmap to support long-term competitive advantage.</li></ul><hr><h2>Analyze / Consult / Coach (40%)</h2><ul><li>Lead and mentor Informatics Leads, Analysts, and Data Teams, ensuring high performance and adoption of best practices.</li><li>Partner with business and operational leadership to translate complex data into actionable business insights.</li><li>Drive adoption of data-driven decision making across departments and leadership teams.</li><li>Provide strategic guidance on data governance, data quality, and analytics standards.</li><li>Coach teams on analytics tools, methodologies, and performance optimization.</li><li>Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and analytics teams.</li></ul><hr><h2>Other Responsibilities (10%)</h2><ul><li>Develop and present executive-level dashboards, insights, and strategic recommendations.</li><li>Build strong relationships across IT, operations, and executive leadership.</li><li>Evaluate and implement analytics tools, platforms, and third-party solutions.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of analytics outputs aligned with business expectations.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends, healthcare analytics advancements, and emerging technologies.</li></ul><hr><h1>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or similar)</li><li>Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Analytics, Public Health, Data Science, Biostatistics, or Business Analytics</li><li>7+ years of experience in data analytics/informatics, including<ul><li>5+ years in leadership, team management, or project leadership roles</li></ul></li><li>Strong healthcare domain experience including:<ul><li>Claims data, Medicare programs, revenue cycle, utilization analytics, population health</li></ul></li><li>Advanced knowledge of:<ul><li>SQL, data warehousing, ETL pipelines, data governance, data quality frameworks</li></ul></li><li>Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker</li><li>Strong understanding of KPI development, metrics design, and performance analytics</li><li>Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, enterprise environment</li></ul><hr><h1>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h1><ul><li>MBA or advanced degree in Analytics, Healthcare, or related field</li><li>Strong understanding of Medicare and CMS programs</li><li>Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling</li><li>Hands-on exposure to modern data platforms such as:<ul><li>Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse</li></ul></li><li>Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP</li><li>Familiarity with:<ul><li>MLOps, model deployment, and analytics automation frameworks</li></ul></li><li>Exposure to AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI use cases in healthcare analytics</li></ul><hr>ARC Group is a Forbes-ranked top 20 recruiting and executive search firm working with clients nationwide to recruit the highest quality technical resources.
