Job Summary and Responsibilities Acentra Health is looking for a Developer, Mid to join our growing team. Job Summary: We are seeking an advanced level PHP programmer with a strong background in web development and server management. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience and possess advanced knowledge in the following areas: Responsibilities:<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain PHP-based applications</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Upgrade PHP versions and implement security remediation</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manage and optimize databases using MariaDB</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop and integrate APIs</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manage AWS services for cloud-based applications</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Write and maintain BASH scripts for automation</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Use SSH and CLI for Linux server management</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with the team using JIRA for project management</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Utilize Bitbucket and Git for version control</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules</li></ul> The list of responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time. Qualifications Required Qualifications<ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Requires a BS or equivalent combination of experience in lieu of a degree</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The Company acknowledges that practical, hands-on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree is typically required, the company will accept a minimum of six (6) additional years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidates has an Associate's degree, the company will accept a minimum of three (3) additional years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">3+ years of software development experience</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Advanced knowledge of PHP and full-stack, web development, and SDLC</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in Linux, SSH, CLI, and BASH scripting and server management</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Expertise in Docker and containerization</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Solid understanding of AWS services</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient with MariaDB, SQL, and database management</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">API development and integration skills</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, and Bamboo</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to upgrade PHP versions and implement security measures</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Basic knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or healthcare verticals</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong working knowledge of web, application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx or WebSphere</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong working experience with CI/CD pipelines; including technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, and others</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">.NET experience – VB, C#, webforms etc.</li></ul>Why us?
