<p>This is a remote position.</p> <p>Virtual Rockstar is hiring a full-time Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our internal team as we launch and scale a new credentialing and provider enrollment division focused on supporting PT, OT, and SLP practices nationwide.<br></p> <p>This is more than a traditional credentialing role. We are looking for someone with strong experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and re-credentialing who is excited about helping build scalable systems and operational workflows from the ground up.<br></p> <p>This role has strong long-term growth potential and may evolve into a leadership position overseeing credentialing operations, workflows, training, and credentialing support teams as the division expands. This initiative will also involve AI-enhanced credentialing software and operational systems designed specifically for healthcare practices.<br></p> <p>This role is designed for someone who wants long-term upward mobility and the opportunity to become a foundational leader within Virtual Rockstar’s growing credentialing division.<br></p> <p>Over time, this individual may transition into overseeing:<br></p> <ul> <li><p>Credentialing operations and workflows<br></p></li> <li><p>Credentialing VAs and support teams<br></p></li> <li><p>Training and quality assurance processes<br></p></li> <li><p>Credentialing systems implementation and optimization<br></p></li> </ul> <p>We are looking for someone who wants to help build and shape this division for the long term.<br></p> <h2>Responsibilities<br></h2> <h3>Provider Credentialing & Enrollment<br></h3> <ul> <li><p>Manage full provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes<br></p></li> <li><p>Complete payer enrollments for commercial and government insurance plans<br></p></li> <li><p>Submit and track credentialing applications, revalidations, and updates<br></p></li> <li><p>Maintain credentialing timelines, expirations, and provider records<br></p></li> <li><p>Follow up with insurance payers to resolve delays and outstanding items<br></p></li> </ul> <h3>Credentialing Operations Support<br></h3> <ul> <li><p>Assist in developing credentialing workflows, SOPs, and operational processes<br></p></li> <li><p>Support implementation and optimization of credentialing software systems<br></p></li> <li><p>Help create training materials and scalable systems for future credentialing teams<br></p></li> <li><p>Participate in pilot testing and process improvement initiatives<br></p></li> </ul> <h3>Communication & Compliance<br></h3> <ul> <li><p>Communicate professionally with providers, payers, and internal teams<br></p></li> <li><p>Support provider onboarding and documentation collection<br></p></li> <li><p>Maintain organized, compliant, and audit-ready records<br></p></li> <li><p>Stay current on payer credentialing requirements and industry changes<br></p></li> </ul> <br> <br> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li><p>Strong experience with provider credentialing and payer enrollment<br></p></li> <li><p>Experience credentialing:<br></p></li> <ul> <li><p>Physical Therapists (PTs)<br></p></li> <li><p>Occupational Therapists (OTs)<br></p></li> <li><p>Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)<br></p></li> </ul> <li><p>Experience with:<br></p></li> <ul> <li><p>CAQH<br></p></li> <li><p>NPI enrollment<br></p></li> <li><p>Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment<br></p></li> <li><p>Revalidations and re-credentialing workflows<br></p></li> <li><p>Multi-state credentialing processes<br></p></li> </ul> <li><p>Experience supporting therapy or rehabilitation practices strongly preferred<br></p></li> </ul> <br> <br> <h3>Benefits</h3> <ul> <li><p>Competitive salary commensurate with experience.<br></p></li> <li><p>Opportunities for professional development and growth.<br></p></li> <li><p>Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.<br></p></li> <li><p>Make a meaningful impact by helping to build and strengthen families across the globe.<br></p></li> </ul> <br> <br>
