As Solution Specialists, we collaborate across Sales, Solution Engineering, R&D, Value Engineering, Marketing and Professional Services to help clear technical blockers, optimize solution design, and accelerate time-to-value for customers adopting HashiCorp solutions.</p> <ul> <li>As a Solution Specialist, focus on driving customer success and adoption of HashiCorp solutions. Serve as a domain expert, providing customers with technical guidance at strategic points during customer journeys with HashiCorp.</li> <li>Translate customer challenges into repeatable, scalable, and consumable product and process standard methodologies across the HashiCorp portfolio for field teams, Partners, and Customers.</li> <li>Assist as a specialized domain expert aligned to HashiCorp’s products and ecosystem, with an escalation path to progress strategic opportunities across the full customer journey.</li> <li>Establish and maintain an understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio.</li> <li>Assist in sophisticated technical due diligence activities supporting moments that matter (Discovery, Technical Validation, Onboarding, Consumption, Optimization).</li> <li>Deliver advanced product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, workshops, and proofs-of-value to key customer partners.</li> <li>Partner with Account Teams to identify and manage customer risks and opportunities related to product adoption, renewal, and expansion.</li> <li>Collaborate with HashiCorp Product Management to translate customer business needs into technical solutions and prioritize new product requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Product Education, and Value Engineering to build prescriptive patterns for core and strategic product use cases.</li> <li>Act as educators and advisors to HashiCorp Sales teams, partners, and customers.</li> <li>Foster an environment for ongoing customer success.</li> <li>This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.</li> </ul> <h2>Education</h2><ul> <li>Required education: Bachelor\'s Degree</li> <li>Preferred education: Master\'s Degree</li> </ul> <h2>Technical and Professional Expertise (Required)</h2><ul> <li>Comfort leading discussions with customers to educate and advise on usage and adoption of HashiCorp products to achieve measurable value.</li> <li>Deep technical expertise in cloud and on-premise infrastructure management, application deployment, and security methodology.</li> <li>Strong foundation in supporting technical sales and security-focused solutions.</li> <li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment focused on outstanding customer service.</li> <li>Comfort working remotely with a high level of independence and autonomy.</li> <li>Outstanding communication: developing and delivering technical content for audiences of varying technical abilities.</li> <li>Proficiency with concepts and technologies used in software development, operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and/or scheduling platforms.</li> <li>Experience with engineering/operating an infrastructure platform with internal/external customers.</li> <li>Experience in major transformation efforts involving process, organizational, and technology change.</li> <li>This is a customer-facing role and may require travel to client locations to deliver engagements when needed.</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Technical and Professional Experience</h2><ul> <li>Experience crafting technical content such as Architectural Blueprints and Recommended Patterns.</li> <li>Experience supporting peers through code review, pairing, and sharing technical knowledge.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of HashiCorp’s domain area and how it works together to conceptualize solutions (HashiCorp product Certification preferred).</li> <li>Expertise in at least one cloud provider in your region (AWS/Azure/GCP Certification preferred).</li> <li>Expertise in container orchestration and development (CKA Certification preferred).</li> </ul> <h2>ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT</h2><p>IBM Software infuses core business operations with intelligence—from machine learning to generative AI—to help make organizations more responsive, productive, and resilient.
