About the Position Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time Permanent An established therapy clinic is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care in a full-time permanent position. In this role, you will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to help patients progress through rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving daily function.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys direct patient interaction, structured treatment programs, and being part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
Role Overview
- Implement therapy programs designed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with strengthening, mobility training, balance work, and therapeutic exercise
- Observe patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising therapist
- Reinforce home exercise programs and recovery instructions
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment
- Complete required clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner
- Help create a supportive and encouraging therapy environment
- Current PTA license (or eligibility) in the state of practice
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Clinical experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based care model
