What You'll Do as a Hybrid Customer Care Professional - Corporate Card Member

As a Customer Care Professional, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences to our Corporate and Small Business Card Members. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing inbound calls from Corporate and Small Business Card Members to understand their needs and recommend the right American Express benefits or services
  • Delivering high levels of product and service knowledge to clearly communicate product features, benefits, and other elements of American Express Corporate Card services
  • Building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and providing world-class customer service
  • Responding to questions concerning accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment
  • Documenting necessary account information according to established policies and procedures, and adhering to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices

  • Provide exceptional customer service to Corporate and Small Business Card Members via inbound calls
  • Develop a deep understanding of American Express products and services to make recommendations and resolve customer inquiries
  • Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web-based environment
  • Document account information and adhere to Regulatory and Compliance guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve product and service knowledge to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and offerings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and provide support
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Two years of customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication
  • Proven success in a customer service call center environment (two years+)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web-based environment
  • Open availability for scheduling
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with corporate or small business card products
  • Knowledge of financial services and products
  • Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or financial services
