MedStar Health is seeking Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners with acute care experience to join their MedStar eVisit telemedicine service. This part-time, remote role (0.5 FTE) involves providing on-demand acute patient visits via a virtual platform, with a significant portion of hours dedicated to weekends. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand clinical expertise within a nationally recognized health system.

  • MedStar eVisit is MedStar's virtual urgent care platform/service.
  • The service is open 24/7/365 days a year.

Compensation

  • Hiring range of $70 - $75 /Hr.

Shift & Schedule

  • Weekend Hours Required
  • 60% weekend hours and 40% weekday hours

Requirements

  • Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Acute care experience (urgent care and/or ED experience a plus)
  • Current or ability to obtain licenses (including DEA and CDS) in Maryland, DC, and Virginia (license and DEA only)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant urgent care and/or ED experience
